Passwordmaker supposed to . . .
« on: March 04, 2006, 08:50:01 PM »
Running Win98SE with FF v1.5.0.1 and every time I open a new window, instead of a tab, and access a link that requires a username and password Passwordmaker requires me to enter my Master Password again.  Is this normal?

TIA,

Nurdy

Unfortunately, yes, this is normal. Each Firefox window creates its own PasswordMaker. This can be fixed, but no one has reported it as a problem until now.

I'll move this post to the bugs forum.

Thanks,
Eric

Not really a problem, just a pain in the old a__.  If there is a change on this how soon could that be done?  I imagine it will be several months?

Thank you for this reply and consideration of making this a bug,

I don't think it's much effort, but given the queue of features right now, it will be some time before I get to it.
