Tried to change bank password but it was rejected because of unacceptable characters. They will only accept letters and numbers and there must be at least one of each. Suggestions?

Edit the character set...

Obviously, you want to create a custom account for this site first, then simply pick one of the pre defined character sets, and populate it with all of the characters you want.

Currently there is no way to tell PWM to use a certain number of certain character types, but I do believe that is on the Feature Request List. I'll make sure, and if not, I'll make it myself cause its a good one.

Another comment on this pet peeve of mine...

I have noticed that Banks and other Financial online systems seem to be the absolute *worst* about this - I have yet to find one that allows me to use a *strong* password - like you, I have found they *all* only allow letters and numbers - *very* insecure, from a password cracking point of view.

Please, *please* complain *loudly* to them, and *demand* that they allow the use of strong passwords - tell them you'll change to another bank that *does*, due to the recent number of break-ins and such that have been publicized recently - its no *wonder* they are getting broken into, if they only allow 6 (or 8) character passwords, and don't allow non alpha-numeric ascii characters...

A workaround is to specify fixed numbers as password prefix or suffix, then for character set specify non-numbers.
