Single quotes in UserName field . . .

Yep, I'm back, for a short.

I use 'single quotes' on some of my usernames and they are NOT kept in PWM.  Every time I open PWM and check the single quotes are not there.

Hi LkonKbd,

I just tried to reproduce this. I entered L'K'on'K'b'd in the username field for Defaults. Closed PasswordMaker. Closed Firefox. Restarted Firefox, opened PasswordMaker. Opened the Defaults and the username field looks the same--single quotes and all!

What am I doing differently than you?

Well, I haven't been able to reproduce it so I'm not convinced it's a bug yet.

"Eric,"

Excuse me for not responding sooner, as I have not been on here since posting the problem in this thread.

I am attempting to setup a SCRN-Sht to show you what it is that I am having as a problem.

I will explain as short as possible here, there are several sites that I use 'd' as my user name and store in PWM under UserName.  When I reopen and attempt to use it again the single quotes are not there.  Being on a dialup and shut down each night may have somethingy to do with it.

I will attempt your procedure on my system to see if that works or not.

Yes, screenshots would be most helpful. I don't think it matters that you're on dial-up and shutdown your PC every night.

"Eric,"

Just did the closing of FF and even ran SBS&D.  Now have reopened FF and the single quotes have gone from my UserName field for  one of the Forums I hold membership, Net-Integration to be exact.  Mozillazine is another.  Remember I am on Win98SE v4.10.2222A.

I am using the FastReply here, where is it that I can place an attachment?

You can't attach files using FastReply. Use PostReply instead...

"Eric,"

I have been attempting to do just that, use the PostReply and there is not a place to put the attachment.  I have attempted to use the GuidedMode and had my FF crash and send a message to Mozilla through TalkBack.

None of the buttons between the blue strips 'CodeButtons' and 'EnterYourPost' will work for me.

Do you have an e-mail addy I may use?  If so PM it, please?

Oh, that's right--you can't attach files here yet. That will change soon. In the meantime, you can upload the screenshot to http://imageshack.us or email it to at [email protected]

"Eric,"

I have sent it by both methods, which ever one you wish to use seems to work fine.
