If i select Auto-clear clipboard it clears the clipboard even if I replaced the password with something else.

This behavior is by design. In other words, I built the extension to function this way. If you'd like it to change, I will add it to the feature list. It's not impossible to fix, but it is difficult.

I think this would be a good idea. Nothing more frustrating than going to another app and doing a copy and then having it wiped out.
