There are few (three?) such extensions for Chrome already but they all have some shortcomings. For one none of them get you to double type the master password so you might end up generating a password which you can never get again! They also don't have the remember in memory option.

It would be really nice to have the identical extension so that you can seamlessly move between browsers so I hope a port is possible  :)

The chrome version is only a quick and dirty copy of the original javascript file. I didn't like it and started to create a full featured chrome extension.

It is not ready yet (options page is missing), but if you want to have a sneak peak or help me out, the extension can be found here:

As soon as I am ready and released a final version, I will promote it everywhere. ATM only the settings dialog is missing. I hope I will finish it in the next few days.

We could combine our work and work together on one extension. You are free to fork mine and push back all stuff that is in your Version and missing in mine. Let's team up.

Yes, you two should team up.

Yeah, serious duplication of effort :)

There's no harm in choice, but if you work together perhaps a single extension would have more features and better support/maintenance than two extensions (one from each of you)
