Chrome version not working on mac, probably also linux
« on: February 26, 2010, 06:16:05 AM »

Google chrome version:

https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/doblembglfahhpiilfhajboogopikhcm

This does not appear to install on chrome for mac.  "Options" button for the extension does not show, and the ring icon does not appear in the location bar.

Use Jinn also reports same problem on Linux.  A few other people report the problem but don't specify the OS.  Please let me know if you need me to get some info for you on what is happening.

I installed it today on my powermac without a problem. But I am using the dev channel for mac, not the beta channel.

I figured it out.  It works differently from the Firefox plugin I am used to. Looks like the javascript version.  You can't tell it's there until you navigate to a web page with password entry form.  Also, it doesn't have the settings capabilities of the extension for Firefox.  Bummer :(
