well I have stumbled across a small problem when logging into joomla admin section on some sites using "\" character.
it would seem that after some time the Parser in the Joomla code will append an extra "\" preceding the initial [backslash] for some reason.
Iam not sure as to why this happens but have made this small discovery recently when my generated password did not work , I then opened the config file for the website in mention and discovered that the password had an extra "\" immediately before the "\" in the generated password. ie;
BCG$%/2eFgk
becomes;
BCG$%//2eFgk
