Mac OS X Coolkey
« on: July 16, 2009, 08:03:51 PM »
I was recently getting PasswordMaker setup on a Macbook and ran into the problem of the coolkey not functioning. Searching on the forum turns up some old posts about this not working on Macs. Was this ever resolved? Is there an easy way to change what shortcut key the coolkey uses?

Hi,

You can remap the CoolKey with the KeyConfig extension: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=72994

Hey Eric,

I spotted that earlier using google, wasn't sure it was being maintained as last update was in 2008. Do you know if it is compatible with 3.5?

NM, looks like it is atleast flagged as compatible. Any recommendations for keys that are known to work? Ctrl+` and Option+` do not seem to.

Well, I don't have OS/X so I can't help there. I'd recommend trying something other than the ` key though. How about a function key?
