NewYork Times is not working
« on: June 12, 2008, 11:06:02 AM »
I have successfully set up most of my things with PasswordMaker. However, there are several sites not working, for example, NewYork Times,  http://www.nytimes.com/auth/login , after "populate field" changing password,  CoolKey or copy/paste or Autopopulate can't get correct password to log in. At the end, I noticed that PasswordMaker Icon is not shinning  as it usually does when it detect log in form.
By the way, those several non-working site are suppose to be in Default account which use normal character only, so it should not be a problem of being rejected by the sites. And, since it's in Default Account, it should not need a pattern.

What to do now? Thanks for helping!

It sounds to me like maybe the URL that is detected when you change the password is different from the Login Page URL.

IF this is the case, this is a good reason to create a Custom Account for it.

strange...I just create a Custom Account for it. The ring is shinning on log in page, but password still not match, Neither CoolKey nor Autopopulate can work.

By the way, after I complete my system with PasswordMaker, do you think it's a good idea to turn off Firefox's password remember option? Currently, I have Google Browser Sync to backup things with Google. It might be a final solution in case if I forget or lost things in PasswordMaker. If turn off Firefox's password function, this Google Sync thing won't serve me anymore. What's a better choice?
