Have had another Forum I am a member of that is having trouble with their Forum Software and I recommended they check out your site and see how clean and how fast it is working.

They're running vBulletin I believe. They removed the copyright however, so I'm not 100% sure.

It's a bit bulky on the client side with the JavaScript. I was a mod at a vBulletin board (and even though I left, my account may still be a mod anyway)

You are very correct in that.  I think they would be better off with this SMF and that decision is theirs alone.

There are features in vB that SMF don't have (one is moderation related, and was a reason another board I go to switched to vB from Invision (1.3) actually (For the same reason we switched, spam posts))

This one may not have all of the features of another Forum software is not a problem for me from this side.  It is very clean in appearance, operates very fast, and gives us (the outside users/customers/requesters of help) what we need and that is a means of communictation.  NOT A PROB Bob! er MiquelFire.
