Base64 Header
« on: August 13, 2007, 04:12:15 AM »
Ok ... i downloaded the new version (2.4) Javascript Edition and thought, that my eyes are bad. So ... the <pre> tag in IE works great ... but in FF & Opera it sucks. So i decided to make an bas64 image & replace the <pre> ... </pre> with

(code to long, see attachment)

Example (my site): http://defcon5.biz

Of cource, the main problem is IE ... some solutions are on

But i didn't get this working. Maybe the coders here have some ideas and will implent this in future releases :)

I did this exact same thing but couldn't get it to work with IE so gave it up. I'll read the link you sent to see if they've discovered some trick to get it to work. But anyway, what do you mean the <pre> tag sucks in FF? The header looked fine in FF to me (didn't check Opera IIRC). I mean, it's certainly not as good as a real image... but what do you expecT? :)
