Auto-Populating fields that change randomly
« on: June 16, 2007, 03:58:06 PM »
Hi,

First thanks for such a great program - love it!

I use PasswordMaker for most of the sites I visit but there are some I just can get to work :(

These sites are mainly banking services which all seem to have a field to enter one piece of "memorable" data, such as your place of birth, memorable name, date or a specific digit from a password.  The trouble is they use the same field ID but change the information required each time you visit, such as

www.nationwide.co.uk
www.halifax-online.co.uk

So with Halifax Online you could be asked to enter your mothers maiden name, place of birth or fathers first name, but have to put the answer in the same field.

I've tried my hardest to figure this out and have searched the forums but am totally stuck now.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Halifax doesn't seem possible. Didn't check Nationwide (How big is the nation they support? Is the world a nation to them? :P)

Hi FlyingVeggie,

Unfortunately, PasswordMaker custom field auto-populate won't work for you in at sites like these. The good news is that all the other features of PasswordMaker still work.

Regards,
Eric
