I did this exact same thing but couldn't get it to work with IE so gave it up. I'll read the link you sent to see if they've discovered some trick to get it to work. But anyway, what do you mean the <pre> tag sucks in FF? The header looked fine in FF to me (didn't check Opera IIRC). I mean, it's certainly not as good as a real image... but what do you expecT?
