I'd like to vote for

Encrypt passwordmaker.rdf

Could you please give us a hint when this feature will eventually be made available. I have many accounts where I have to stick with a default password which can't be modified by myself, so I have to store those passwords unencrypted in passwordmaker.rdf as of now. I'd feel a lot more secure if the file would be encrypted.

Are you talking about specifying passwords in the Advanced Auto-Populate tab? If so, passwords stored there are encrypted in the RDF file... take a look!

Yes, they are not stored in plain text format. But  PasswordMaker still populates those fields without entering the master password if the field value is not based on the master password.

For instance I have a site where both the login and the id can not be changed by myself. I have to use some default login and password combination.
I set up an advanced auto-populate account for this site for both the login and password field to be filled automatically by PasswordMaker. However, the password data is not protected by the master password. So encrypting the entire rdf file would be a nice thing.

Can you give any kind of statement when/if this feature (encrypting the rdf file) will be available?

It *will* be done, but I can't provide a date.

I was looking for the same feature.  In fact I will feel much more secure if even the non-password items were encrypted.
Makes anybody's copy of my passwordmaker.rdf file garbage.

TanStaaflL,

I would like to record a VOTE for this feature along with the ability to select the Drive Letter for the RDF file to be stored.  Where is that vote to be recoredededed?
