Funny CLOSE button bug
« on: January 16, 2006, 04:08:28 PM »
Since upgrading from 1.33 to 1.43 I have consistently had a problem with the Close button. I am running in Advanced mode on MOZ 1.7.12.

When I'm in the program it looks like this (notice the location of the CLOSE button):

I click on the CLOSE button and the program window does not close, instead it changes to look like this

This time when I click on the CLOSE button the window does close.

This happens every time I am in PasswordMaker.

Hello John,

Yes, I am aware of this bug. I don't really understand why it happens, but am continuing to investigate. Hopefully, i'll have a fix shortly. In the meantime, you could always click on the "x" in the upper-right if this is really annoying. Alt-F4 also closes the dialog, as dose the ESC key.

Regards,
Eric

Eric,

Thanks, its not really annoying, just thought you'd want to know. At least not as annoying as 2 other issues/bugs already reported:

1) Store Master Password in Memory not working
2) Ordering of accounts in display, especially in "Choose Account" window.

Irregardless of these little annoyances, the program has been great! Thank you.

John,

I wasn't aware of "Store Master Password in Memory not working". Could you please explain or point me to a post where this was discussed already?

Thank you,
Eric
