Title: Problem with ALT-` and CTRL-`
Post by: tanstaafl on October 05, 2005, 12:16:39 PM
Problem: have to hit the ALT-` twice to get the Master Password Prompt to open, and the CTRL-` doesn't work at all to open the PASSWORDMAKER Settings window (must use the Toolbar icon or 'Tools>Passwordmaker' menu).

This problem has not been confirmed, but if it is a PASSWORDMAKER problem, appears to be related only to non-us keyboard layouts. The only reported problem so far is with a Spanish keyboard layout.

Until this issue is isolated/resolved, reports (both 'works for me' and 'fails for me too') from others using non-standard us keyboard layouts - especially Spanish - would be appreciated. Just reply to this thread...

Thanks

Hi!

As I posted on the other thread:

Ctrl+` maps to Ctrl+[ in the spanish keyboard.
Alt-`maps to Alt-`, but it must be pressed twice.

Obviously, we have a problem with the "`" key in the spanish keyboard.
