Title: Referred Passwordmaker
Post by: Romeo on September 30, 2005, 07:22:05 PM
Hey Eric, I just referred Passwordmaker to the Kim Commando (http://www.komando.com/index.asp) show.  Others may want to do likewise right here (http://www.komando.com/emailkim.asp).  She seems to have a fairly large radio audience.

I get that show here in Florida.  This is exactly what is needed.  A PasswordMaker 'Spread the Word' campaign.  Tell anyone and everyone, anywhere and everywhere.

Spread PasswordMaker information in at least 10 different places (except spamming) and become a 'PasswordMaker Insider'! :clown:

That's why I posted this topic, because I think that we do need a campaign for spreading the word.

I do not think that we need to attach any knid of reward, because Passwordmaker speaks for itself.

Thanks! I've heard her show before. I'd love to see that kind of audience using PasswordMaker.

Precisely Eric, that was the idea.

Excellent topic.

I've already got LifeHacker (http://www.lifehacker.com/software/security/os-x-password-manager-roundup-117004.php) to link to passwordmaker, but it wasn't really a formal review, and mixed in with the others.  Perhaps, since the person who was posted that wasn't Gina Trapani, we could ask her to post a formal, in depth, excellent review of this extension.

I doubt it.  But we shouldn't underestimate the techie fanbase of Lifehacker.  Seriously.  Those are the types of people who PM most appeal to.

what the heck! I just spend a whole post (http://forums.passwordmaker.org/index.php?showtopic=408) going on about how PM needs to appeal more to the common person, and then I turn around and suggest Lifehacker.

sheesh, I'm tired.

If there was a way to relate this to music, I would suggest PM on the XM Radio station I listen to. I'll find a way.
