Title: Dashboard edition 0.1c
Post by: Brigham Brown on February 17, 2008, 05:59:30 PM
The latest update to the Dashboard edition includes editable character sets, which are saved between restarts, logoffs, etc. It also includes code to make upgrading to future updates not lose saved character sets.

It can be found on  the wiki (http://passwordmaker.org/Mac_Widget). It is the one described as being created by Brigham Brown.

Great work, Brigham. I look forward to being able to try this on a friend's mac (or an OS/X virtual machine on my WinXP box :))

BitTorrent. Here are several for VMWare Player (http://www.vmware.com/products/player/) (which is free!)

1 (http://www.mininova.org/tor/1116541)
2 (http://www.mininova.org/search/?search=os%2Fx+vmware) (the 161 MB images are suspiciously too small IMHO)
3 (http://thepiratebay.org/search/osx%20vmware/0/99/0)

Last time I ran one as a virtual machine was when OS/X was first released. It ran so slowly on Windows XP with VMWare that it was unusable, but it *did* boot and work. Things are probably a lot better now with both VMWare emulation, the images, and the speed of PCs in general.
