Title: Badly detected username/password form field
Post by: TuEye on July 19, 2006, 11:02:47 PM
Hi everyone,
PasswordMaker: v. 1.5.1
Website: https://config.strato.de/ (https://config.strato.de/)

My PasswordManager doesn't detect these fields. I think it's because the site uses frames for login.

Hopefully you could help me fix this problem, thanks.

best regards

TuEye

It's actually quite a few nested frames. I don't like frames.

Please bookmark the page: https://config.strato.de/login.php (https://config.strato.de/login.php) and use it for login from now on. PasswordMaker works on that page. Login works too, but the outer frame with the menu at the top will be gone.

I hope this is helps.

Great, thanks a lot
Finaly it works. And the outer frame isn't realy important i think.

Glad to be of help. And btw, I think strato servers are very nice, the best value for the money IMO. Eine gute Wahl.

But this workaround doesn't answer the question why the extension doesn't populate the password field. Is there a limit to how many nested frames it can detect?
