Title: getting rid of icons
Post by: dmiranda on April 28, 2006, 09:50:25 AM
Hi,

I am testing this extension (first test was your site).

I would like to get rif of the icons in the main context menu and tools.  I like my menus plain

Is it possible to do this?

There might be a way VIA the userChrome.css file using the class menu-iconic-left and setting the display to none (This will affect all menu icons in Firefox BTW, PasswordMaker doesn't have ID's for all of it's menu items)

Hi DMiranda,

Try the MenuEditor (http://menueditor.mozdev.org/) extension. Let me know if it doesn't work for you so I can add the missing IDs (miquel: which ones are you referring to? I'd like to fix that).

First off, the one that groups all the PasswordMaker controls when you right click a field. And I think I saw another one. Actually, the fact the group one didn't have it made it hard for me to find it in DOM Inpector actually (Man, my context menu is cluttered!)

Thanks.  Fixed; it will be in the next release. Let me know if you find any others.
