Awesome! Thanks Eric... I'll be testing it over the next few days and provide feedback...
Hmmm... should we have a separate 'Beta Support/Feedback' forum?

I'd rather not. There are too many forums right now, IMHO. I've been tempted to merge some of them in the past.
It's fine if you post feedback right here, replying to this thread.

Understood, and will do... thanks again...

No feedback on the beta from anyone. Does this mean I can release it into the wild?

I think the localization is still being worked on.

If you mean the GUI changes, the only one which was important to localization (tips.xul) is now complete. The other GUI changes don't have to be in 1.7. I'm interested in feedback from anyone who's used 1.7b1. The localization stuff will work itself out and doesn't have to be final for 1.7; pt-BR will be included but if the other translations aren't ready, that's OK.

I think there's some issues still with just en-US not working in Seamonkey or something.

I haven't had any problems with it, but haven't played much with the 'Save Master Password Fingerprint' stuff. I did test it with one account and it seemed to work properly, although I hope we can get the UI simplified...

Ditto. I'm just not sure how. I cannot reduce the fingerprint buttons to a single button. Doesn't make sense.

Hmmm... well, you haven't responded at all to my comments, so I'm not sure what about this idea you don't like - because, in my mind, reducing them to a single button makes perfect sense...
It is a context thing - it simply acts on whatever Account is currently Active, just like the Password Generation. I'll split off the FR from the GUI Enhancement topic and ask that you re-read it, and look carefully at my mock-ups (just intended for visual clarification), then comment on what about it doesn't make sense.
Now, if it is difficult to do - that, of course, is something else entirely.

Me too, but how? If you make the button say "Store MPW Hash for selected account", how will you store the MPW Hash for all accounts? I don't understand.
-
Ah, ok, now I see...
No one ever responded to my earlier question here (http://forums.passwordmaker.org/index.php/topic,1351.msg1280229.html#msg1280229) about the precise function of this button (Store Master Password for All Accounts)... so, I'm guessing from this response that the answer would be the latter - stores the Master Password Hash for ALL ACCOUNTS (what the description on the button itself says, as opposed to the label above it)?
If so, then I don't see this as a good way to accomplish the goal... why store the same Hash umpteen times, once for each account? Why not just create a pointer to the Hash to the Hash for the Defaults Account? Then just make the 'Store MPW for all accounts' an option in 'Global Settings'.
Last, to store the Default Master Password Hash - just select the Default Account, then click the single button. Since it is context seneitive, it stores it for the Default Account, and this is the Hash that will be used for ALL accounts if the Global Setting 'Use Default MPW Hash for all accounts' is checked.

Better yet, make this global setting available there, but not as a button, as a checkbox option. See my edited FR here (http://forums.passwordmaker.org/index.php/topic,1354.msg1280259.html#msg1280259) for a mock-up of how this would look.
