Title: Place/procedure to report cosmetic issues?
Post by: tanstaafl on September 02, 2005, 11:21:28 AM
Eric, is there a proper way to notify you of cosmetic issues?

There is one that I reported some time ago (I *think* before 0.73 was released) that is still there:

Open PM - Advanced Options - Accounts Tab

Click 'New Group'...

Since I am adding a new 'Group', it doesn't make sense to call it a 'Folder' in this window.

Also, the 'required' and 'optional' labels are showing twice.

I'd suggest changing it to just:

Group Name (required): ___________________

Description/Comments (optional):
___________scrollable text box_____________

Tanstaafl, Eric just wanted to be sure that we know which of the two entries is optional and which one is reqired.    :)

No, I agree.  I had noticed it before but decided to say something about it later, but since I do not create a new folder very frequently, it just slipped my mind.

Posting in any of these forums is fine. I don't think we need an entire forum dedicated to cosmetic issues, do you?

Thanks for finding this and pointing it out! It's in the code for the next release.

It wasn't really a bother.  I noticed it ones or twice and didn't think anything about it.  Eric I bet you have probably noticed it a couple of times yourself, thought you were going to fixing later, and then just got used to seeing it, right ?  I know how it goes sometimes.  But it's good to have it fixed.

No, actually, I never noticed it. Thanks again for pointing it out.
