Title: Clear Text in 1.5.1 beta2 is NOT Clear
Post by: offroadsooner on March 28, 2006, 03:55:33 AM
Whenever I choose Clear Text as a global setting and have it auto-populate the text is in full view...correctly entered.

I chose not to store the master password at all and it still was not clear.

Not a real big deal but something I was playing with.

Thanks,

Brad

Hi Brad,

I don't understand this bug. "I chose not to store the master password at all and it still was not clear." What was not clear?

Thanks,
Eric

Is Clear Text supposed to be "readable text" on the screen?  I was thinking that 'clear text' meant unseen text.  If that is not correct I'll proceed to take my foot out of my mouth.

Ah, I see your confusion. The wording for this has changed more than once because some people didn't understand it. I see that's still the case. By "clear text", I mean "visible, clear, readable"... not "clear the field of input".

If you have a suggestion on how to rephrase this, I'd love to hear it.
