Title: Alt-~ no longer filling in fields
Post by: nicerobot on May 01, 2007, 02:32:15 AM
I'm not sure exactly when it started happening, I think around the time I installed the Google Toolbar and the new del.icio.us plugin. But I've tried uninstalling both and the problem seems to persist. Anyone else experience this problem?

Alt-~ will pop open the dialog. It just doesn't autofill password fields that it used to fill.

As far as settings for Google Toolbar, I've disabled all it's options as well as uninstalling it and it doesn't seem to help.

More interestingly, the problem seems to be intermittent, in that, it will fill the field now and then, but rarely. Maybe once in 10 tries.

Firefox 2.0.0.3
PasswordMaker 1.6.1
del.icio.us bookmarks 1.5.26
Google Toolbar 3.0.2070217M

And though I hope it doesn't matter, this is on Mac OS X.4.9.

Just tested: It doesn't matter. Seems to happen on Ubuntu with a similar Firefox plugin setup.

Try creating a new Firefox profile without those other extensions installed (instead of disabling them).
