Title: One URL, three accounts
Post by: Freddie on October 07, 2005, 04:18:56 AM
I have three Google accounts
Google general account - Username Banana
Gmail account - Username Orange
Gmail account - Username Lemon

Google general account sign in page
https://www.google.com/accounts/Login?conti...bhp-etc,etc,etc (https://www.google.com/accounts/Login?continue=http://www.google.com/webhp-etc,etc,etc).

Gmail account sign in page
https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogi...lse-etc,etc,etc (https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false-etc,etc,etc).

Three separate advanced accounts in Passwordmaker

All three contain
When URL contains = www.google.com
Use this URL = Gmail.com
Auto populate - On

Username of the three are respectively
Banana, Orange, Lemon

When I go to Google general account I get a Choose Account box with three accounts in it.
I select Banana.
GREAT

When I go to Gmail sign in site I do not get the Choose Account box.
It auto fills with Banana and asks me for the Master Password Prompt.

Where have I gone wrong in this simple life of mine?

Thanks

Freddie

Hi Freddie,

Does the "Gmail sign in site" contain google.com in the URL?

Yes Eric

I haven't heard of this before. I'll see if I can reproduce it tomorrow. It's 3am now :(  Maybe someone else can try while I'm sleeping...

This brings up a related question (http://forums.passwordmaker.org/index.php?showtopic=448) I keep forgetting to ask about the 'When Using URL' field...

Google's a pain though... why does it even give you a login page without the graphic/text confirmation thing, if it's gonna make you do it a second time?

Or is it something I'm doing?

I go to their login page - all it asks for is my username and password... I hit Alt-`, PM populates both, I hit enter - I get a second login page with the graphic/text that I have to manually enter (and PM has put my username in this text confirmation box) - I hit enter again, and I'm logged in. The first few times this happened, I thought the second prompt was an indication of a login failure (bad password), but it isn't...

weirdness...
