Title: Bug found?
Post by: Joe on August 31, 2005, 11:28:30 PM
I upgraded from Mozilla 1.7.b to 1.7.11.
I downloaded Password maker 0.7.3 which I installed.

When I opened Mozilla, I had instead of the normal one row of icons next to the address bar, I now have 4 rows of exactly the same last 4 icons.

Not sure why, nor how to get rid of it?
worst case, how do I get rid of the application (password maker)?

Many thanks

Found out how to solve that one.
Change the themes view, change it back. Then restart the browser.
Ta da..

Now hopefully I can check it out!

Does this now superceed the previous password managers? Can a person use this to store all the passwords?

Hi Joe,
Glad you found a solution. I hadn't heard of the problem you experienced.

It can be used instead of or in addition to other password managers; that's up to you. It doesn't conflict with others (including the built-in one).

Yes, you can use PasswordMaker to manage all of your passwords -- even non-websites! Remember that nothing is stored, as you put it, so you're safe from hackers. The passwords are calculated with mathematical formulas each and every time they are needed.

Eric
