Title: Coolkey not working for this site
Post by: tanstaafl on March 22, 2012, 01:08:50 PM
I'm hoping someone can see an easy way to fix this...

We have a new audio/web conferencing service we are using, but for some reason, the coolkey (ALT-~) doesn't work to populate the form. Here is the login URL:

https://conferencingserver.com/myaccount/

There's no password fields there, and I don't believe PIN is used in the username field (both fields have PIN in their names BTW)

Yes, because they are both PINs... ;)

Either way, if PasswordMaker supported it, it would just fill in your username for both.

Ok, well, I just went ahead and added both custom fields so it would auto-populate, and it works fine... but, when I added the PIN field that works as the password field as a password field, it didn't populate it... I had to add it as a plain text field to get it to auto-populate.

Why? Why would it work (auto-populate) when the custom field is added as a text field, but not when it is added as a password field?

Because it's not a password field. ;)
