Title: PasswordMaker 0.7.3 beta2
Post by: Eric H. Jung on August 20, 2005, 07:51:13 AM
Hi,

PasswordMaker 0.7.3 beta2 is available here (http://passwordmaker.org/beta.html).

Please let me know of any bugs. As soon as the auto-populate whitelists feature has been tested thoroughly, I'll release 0.7.3 and move on to the big 0.8 with arbitrary field population.

Thanks,
Eric

The 11 accounts after using alt-` bug seems to be gone.  This is great!!

Eric,

I can only repeat what Quixin is saying in his animated gif.  It seems to be working fine with my bank.  I haven't tried any other accounts as of yet, but don't expect to find any problems.

Look nice.  One thing though:

Quote
Cleaned up the Account-Specific Settings dialog when it's displayed for a folder; unused GUI controls are invisible instead of disabled.

What does that mean?

I'm going to remove the new features from the list (dun dun dunnnn!!) now.  Should be done in a few minutes.

Hi there,

I am testing beta 3 and just tried to log into my CC account and it did NOT work.  I tried and tried again and then, they just locked me out.

So then, I reset my password by going thru their security stuff, etc, etc.  Finally they asked me to set up a new password.  the max length, they said, was 10 characters.

Last time I created a new password, the max was 32, so I used a length of 30, thanks to passwordmaker it worked great.

Now all of a sudden, they declare my password invalid, because they change their security policy, WITHOUT telling me.

Needless to say that I am pretty p***ed at the bank !!!  I am thinking may be Better Business Bureau, what do you think ?
