Title: iPhone Edition
Post by: AcidReflux on March 10, 2010, 08:12:42 PM
I just saw that an iPhone app edition exists and I was excited. However, even after I enter in all my custom settings it does not seem to produce the same passwords as the other editions. Does anyone know if this is normal?

I submitted a fix for that.
It now matches that of the Mac Desktop Widget.  And have unit tests to verify that they do match!

So within 2 weeks you can be excited again. =)  I broke it when I added profiles to it.  (before I released it to the app store)  And since I don't personally use HMAC versions I didn't notice it breaking within my normal use.

Yeah, I am excited again. I was just my luck that I happen to use one of the few hashes that was broken :)

I uploaded the source for the iphone app here:

I plan to add 2 features to it. If you want to help, feel free to fork!

Is the iPhone Edition still being maintained? The app is neither available on the German nor on the American store (http://itunes.apple.com/de/app/passwordmaker-org-password/id359001896?mt=8 is the not longer working link found here: https://github.com/passwordmaker/ios-passwordmaker)

Passwordmaker is a great piece of software  - anything I can do to reanimate?

The guy who made passwordmaker for iphone might not have paid the yearly App Store fee.

A tad late maybe, but if anybody's looking for a maintained iOS version, I've kicked off making a new frontend (with a small port of existing JS libs) this weekend, and I'm hoping to keep it going for the foreseeable.
