Title: how to remove from navigation toolbar?
Post by: random on February 20, 2006, 05:40:26 PM
How can I remove the passwordmaker icon and the space it occupies from the navigation toolbar in mozilla suite/seamonkey?

I always use the keychord and would just as soon reclaim the real estate.

Thanks.

Hi random,

You question is answered in the FAQ (http://passwordmaker.org/faq.html):

How can I turn off the toolbar icons for Mozilla and Netscape?
You can turn it off (and back on again) by creating the new boolean preferences browser.toolbars.showbutton.passwordmaker and browser.toolbars.showbutton.passwordmaker-key in about:config or user.js with the value of true or false. Make sure to restart all browsers after making the change.

Thanks. I had searched the FAQ but I used "remove" rather than "turn it off". Appreciate your help.
