i experience an image-not-displaying issue when using the online version on my own website. i just replicated the issue with passwordmaker-javascript-2.2.zip downloaded from the downloads page to be sure i'm not being too stoopid.
here's the scenario:
loaded up the online version that i put on my website
the header image showed up fine when i first loaded the page
refreshed the page, image disappeared
closed and reopened the browser, no image
cleared the cache, reopened the page, no image
typed in the direct address of the image:
http://passwordmaker.org/images/pageheader.jpg
the image showed up fine
hit 'back', the image was there
'refreshed' the page, image goes away
can anyone else replicate this? btw, if i load passwordmaker.html from my local pc's hard drive, the issue does not happen. eric, i think this may have something to do with the images not showing up on sourceforge.

internet explorer has some issues too. here's what i did and what happened in ie:
i loaded up the passwordmaker.html page on my website
ie showed no image when the page loaded
right-click, properties, ie says 'Not Available'
i went straight to the image:
http://passwordmaker.org/images/pageheader.jpg
image loaded up fine
hit the back button, image is there
hit the refresh button, image goes away

Hot-link protection. The downloaded versions should not access passwordmaker.org IMHO.

i don't know what hot-link protection is exactly, but i get the concept. i agree with you. i think the online version should be modified (by whomever chooses to use it) to work on their web space rather than have references to passwordmaker.org. what modifications would be needed to get around this issue? would it be a few simple image references or would it be more complicated? i should just look at the code (it's open source after all :), but if you can toss me a bone...

Just the images I think.

Don't bother. I will remove the hot-link protection.

too late, miquelfire beat you to it! i changed the img reference and the prob went away. thx to both of ya!
-
What did you change it to?

i copied your image (hope that's ok) to my site and changed the img ref to my copy instead of the copy at passwordmaker.org
