PasswordMaker for Firefox/Moz/NS/Flock 1.4.4 beta1

Hi,

PasswordMaker for Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape/Flock version 1.4.4 beta has been released and is available here. I'd really appreciate some feedback to make sure I didn't break anything. I did a lot of testing and didn't find any problems.

Eric,

I've just installed 1.44b and it seems (so far, only used for about 10 mins) to work fine. I've gone back to "Store Master PW - In Memory" and it works correctly now (i.e., enter the password once per browser session).

I'll let you know if any problems turn up...

Thanks. By the way, please ignore the "Other Fields" tab in Account Settings. It doesn't do anything yet and shouldn't be there.  :whistle:

There is a slight display problem that I found - don't know if it was there before.

This shows up ONLY in the default Settings, when I go to an individual account setting it looks fine.




The UserName field is not tall enough to show the text.

Actually you are both right and wrong....

Increasing the height of the window only makes the Notes section taller - it doesn't help the Username text box height.

Increasing the WIDTH of the window allows the Autp-populate line to fit on one line and this allows the Uername text box to be bigger.

Yes, I'm aware of that display problem. It's been there for a little while. It's not an easy one to fix. It's especially annoying because it probably confuses new PasswordMaker users. I'll see if azzer has any ideas how to fix it.

I thought Gecko was what they called the HTML renderer. Right now, I'm going to call the widget system Chrome, as that name is see everywhere. But I have a feeling there's an X in the name.

installed 1.4.4.Beta

- my version in extension manager (Fx 1.5) still shows me PWM 1.4.3...is this wrong? Before anybody asks, I downloaded the XPI to desktop, then dragged into FX. Restarted FX and checked the extension manager.

Glad to hear everything's OK. I'm not sure I'll have time to release 1.4.4 final since I'm heavily into 1.5 already... shooting for a 1.5 beta very shortly.
