Special Domains problem
« on: January 11, 2006, 09:54:27 PM »
Since upgrading to 1.4, the "Using URL" field doesn't fill properly when using Special Domains.

eg. When using PasswordMaker with http://smh.com.au/ the field just populates with "com.au"

Any ideas?

Blessings,
Steve.

Have you tried 1.4.2?

Hi Steve,

I can't reproduce this. Am I doing something wrong?

I've checked "Domain" and com.au is correctly used. If I check "Subdomain(s)" and "Domain", then smh.com.au is correctly displayed. What were you expecting?

Hi Eric,

The domain of the site is actually "smh.com.au".  In Australia, .com.au is like .com - it's the suffix for a domain, which has previously worked with Special Domains in PasswordMaker.

Same thing happens with ebay.com.au - PWM just comes up with .com.au again.

Blessings,
Steve.
