Listen, when are you guys going to use avatars on the forum?

I tried to upload a 28k image and this is what I get:

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

The file you requested to upload was greater than the limit the administrator has set for your group.

What's up with that?

Romeo,  Looks like your a hair to large.

Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 25 KB.

If all else fails Romeo,  send the pic over to me, I can get it down a few bytes.

Let me see if I can increase it. I know I can increase the dimensions; not sure if I can increase the file size.

Nope, sorry. I can only change the dimensions permitted, not the filesize... :(

Maybe you can re-save it as a JPG with higher compression? If not, you could crop the size...?

Eric,

If you could, that would be geat, as it is an animated avatar.  BTW, where can you find good avatars ?  I just snatched the one I was going to UL from another BB somewhere.

Romeo, in case you didn't read the thread., the answer is to host your avatar on imageshack. It can be any size if hosted elsewhere.
