Chrome addon
« on: May 19, 2012, 12:18:14 AM »
Hi all,
I have previously been using password scrambler, but it does not work with android so I have decided to give PasswordMaker a try.  However, when I click on the download for chrome I get the message that PasswordMaker can view my data on all websights.  My question is what sort of data can it view, for example if it could view all my bank account details, my security is compromised negating any need for a password in the first place.

It's one of those security things that ALL addons like PasswordMaker need to function. Downloading a copy from some place other than the Chrome store or whatever they're calling it now might result in a version that can read that type of info.

I seen some oddities like that with the way Android works for its apps (it seems in order for an app to have access to send e-mails, the security they ask for allows the app to read/write your calendar as well...)
