Sorry, it's there now. Thanks for telling me. When I issue a release, there are  about 12 steps to do it right. If I miss one, well, something like what you just saw happens...

Green and gold... I hope the two are not colors that will appear the same to me... I'm slightly colorblind and green is a VERY dangerous color to use (at least above 128, whatever that hex code is)

Imagine using software that rely on color and one of them is #00FF00 and another is #FFFF00 and the user not knowing the two are different.

You can thank azzer for this when you see him in the chatroom.

My father and grandfather are/were colorblind, so I understand. Let me know if you have a problem with it. If you do, quixin maybe can offer an alternative color or perhaps a different symbol altogether.

What are the meanings of these colors?

I am currently logged in via PM, but the icon is grey and mousehover indicates 'There has been no activity on this page.' What exactly does that mean? And what would the other colors mean?

From the 0.9 releases notes:
Quote
Added optional statusbar indicator which (1) highlights when PasswordMaker has populated a field and (2) shows which settings were used to populate the last field via tooltips. The indicator can be enabled/disabled in Advanced Options->Global Settings.
From the 0.9.1 releases notes:
Quote
Statubar indicator now turns green if a custom account is used. As in 0.9, it turns gold if the default account is used and grey if no action occurs. Thanks again to quixin for the icons.
I hope that helps. Let me know if it's not clear enough. Eventually, I hope Romeo can update the Help Manual with this information--maybe another page in the manual, or however he sees fit. I like how he incorporated the tilda key into the manual already :)

Eric, after you pointed out that ~ is actually shift `, I quickly went in, deleted the part where I had called it ~, and put in one of the pics you had sent me.

At the moment we are kind of busy at work, but I'll get around to it one of these days, hopefully soon.

I can't believe that I skipped over the release notes - in my defense I think I sent that before my first cup of coffee...

Sorry to have bothered you

Yea, the two colors look almost eh same to me, can only tell the difference when they're next to each other like in quixin's post, and that's barely notice.

OK, I will change it in the next release -- perhaps to another image altogether.

Or may be a square ring ? - NOT

No, but seriously:

May be a white thumbs up for population triggered by the account settings, and, or a question mark for population from the Default settings ?

Changed in 1.1 so only gold and grey are used: no green. The golden ring is shifted 45 degrees if a custom account is used. If the defaults are used, the ring is its normal horizonal self. If nothing's happened, the ring is grey.
