Different passwords given on advanced settings

Hello! :)

I just got this bug casually... Haven't checked if it was already reported.

When in Advanced mode, when you select an account setting, you get your password quickly on the left side of the window.

Now, it seems that 0.7.2 generates a different password from the one you can get when you view the accounts individual settings (highlighting the account and clicking on settings).

This only happened, so far, with the RIPEMD-160 algorithm, and the old characters it supported (lower case hex).

I'm sorry if I'm not being clear enough. I can always give you a screenshot of it.

I think I understand, but a screenshot would be very helpful. You can host the screenshots on imageshack.us

thank you,

Hello!

After creating more accounts, I came to the conclusion that the reason might be the lack of URL. I've tested with other hashes and the same happens.

[Anyway, here is a screenshot.]

Cheers!

Hi GB,

After you click the OK button on the dialog, is the password on the left side of the window updated to show what was in the dialog?

Thanks,
Eric

Hi

No, the password is not updated when I hit ok or cancel.

Cheers!

I think it's the same thing that is mentioned here.
When you leave the URL field blank, the main window uses "[none - click account settings to set]" as the URL, and generates a different password. If you delete it, you will see that the passwords are the same.

GB, you definitely didn't bug me. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll fix it soon enough.
