Checking for updates in the extension manager for PasswordMaker didnt show an update?  Does it take time?

Did you install the previous version (0.9.1) from passwordmaker.org or addons.mozilla.org?

I installed from local disk because I never add sites to my allowed site list ;) Somehow the auto updates still work (though PWM is not showing up yet)

It appears Firefox's Extension Manager is not considering 1.1 to be greater than 0.9.1, or something along those lines. I am investigating.

edit: should work now. close and restart your browser if necessary.
