I have a question. Look at this screenshot:



Does it really make sense to have BOTH of these? What if we just had Store Master Password Fingerprint for selected account? Doesn't that cover people who only want to store a single MPW? If you want to store a single MPW, you can just store it for the Default Account or even just store the same MPW for all accounts if you so desire. I'm trying to simplify the GUI, and I think removing the entire Default Master Password Fingerprint section would help. Tanstaafl, I know you were trying to simplify this part of the GUI at one point. What do you think?

I know you're busy, but I still haven't heard one word, pro or con, on my attempt - and it essentially does just this (does away with the second button)... did you even see it?

So, basically, yes, I agree wholeheartedly with doing away with the second button...

Yeah, I don't know. I think Teo hosed that when he wrote the merged basic/advanced options.xul file. I'll look into it I guess (sigh...)

I'm not able to fix this right now. Played around with it and don't know without a lot more research. Not much bang for the buck if you ask me.

Previous options windows was built on 'window', last is build on 'dialog' which as default have padding around boxes.

If you don't want this padding add to 'passwdmaker.css' file"

I have some remarks about padding problem. Method which I suggested is not good for basic options window and IMHO also for advanced options. I prefer default 'dialog' window design but:

De gustibus non est disputandum

Guys can you give yours opinion about design this window. Problem with basic options window can be resolved by adding JS code for advanced options window only. What you prefer? Window with padding or without?

Please no more suggestions on how to make this better. It works and looks good visually... let's move on to more important things
